Deutsche Asset Management, the investment arm of Deutsche Bank, has lost another manager after its head of investment operations and transfer agency joined Mellon Financial Corporation, the US financial services group.

David Copley's move to Mellon European Fund Services, the group's European investment administration arm, follows the recent departure of Peter Ellis. Ellis, who was managing director of performance and client services at Deutsche Asset Management, emerged at investment management consultant Investit on Monday.
