Debt capital markets fees rise 20% in first half 2003

Global debt capital markets volume rose 16% in the first half to a record $2.5 trillion (€2.2 trillion), beating the previous record set last year and driving fees up by almost one fifth, according to preliminary data from Dealogic.

Global debt fees rose 18% to $9.4bn, reflecting more fees in all markets and regions except US investment grade bonds, where fees fell 11%.
