Deloitte has announced the partners that will share the key head-of-audit role at the firm, just weeks ahead of the industry's deadline to inform regulators of how they will separate their audit practices from their consultancy arms.

The Big Four firm has appointed Paul Stephenson as UK managing partner for audit and assurance. Nikki Mitchell will become North and South Europe (NSE) managing partner for audit and assurance.
