A new fund of funds vehicle put in place by the Danish Government earlier this year to stimulate the local economy is set to make its first investments, despite growing concern from European funds of funds that it will create an artificial investment environment.

The Danish Growth Capital Fund - Dansk Vaekst Kapital - was set up by the Danish Government in January with the aim of providing capital to domestic mid-market and venture capital funds that were struggling to get funding.
