Stephen Jones, head of European corporate equity derivative origination at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB), has left the firm and is thought to be headed for Barclays Capital.

Toby Smith, who ran the corporate structuring team within equity derivatives at SSSB, will take over Jones's role. He will report to Michael Lavelle, head of European ECM at SSSB and Richard Burns, co-head of European equity derivatives.
