Deutsche Bank has increased the amount of paternity leave for UK staff to 16 weeks, joining a number of Wall Street investment banks in encouraging more time off after having a child.

The German lender will allow all employees to take 16 weeks of paternity leave from 1 April 2023, it said in a statement, quadrupling the allowance from its current four weeks.
