The chief executive of Deutsche Bank believes Germany could find itself competing more with countries outside of Europe than within in it, as it bids to attract financial services staff leaving the UK as a result of Brexit.
According to prepared remarks for a speech at the Handelsblatt banking conference, John Cryan said that, while Frankfurt has emerged as a post-Brexit destination of choice for many banks, there is a risk that other international firms will move operations to the US or Asia.
