Deutsche Bank confirms board changes

Deutsche Bank has confirmed that its chief operating officer is resigning and that two other board members are to relinquish their duties as the bank restructures its top tier management board.

Thomas Fischer has quit due to &quotdivergent opinions on the bank's new management structure&quot, the supervisory board said in a statement on Wednesday. He will be replaced by Hermann-Josef Lamberti. Josef Ackermann, who will succeed Rolf Breuer as chief executive in May, will run treasury and Clemens Börsig will run risk management.
