Deutsche Bank's former head of financial sponsor coverage and leveraged finance has returned to the bank in London as a vice chairman of investment banking after six months on sabbatical.

William Maltby rejoined the bank last week to take on "senior coverage responsibilities" within the UK and with some of Deutsche Bank's larger financial sponsor clients, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
