Plato project leader ends involvement

A Deutsche Bank executive who had been leading the Plato Partnership - a planned European not-for-profit equity trading venue backed by banks and buyside firms - has stopped working on the project less than a year after its inception.

Stephen McGoldrick, who had been leading Plato on a part-time secondment from Deutsche Bank since December 2014, left his role on the project last week, a Plato spokeswoman confirmed.
