Deutsche Bank has hired Credit Suisse's chief technology and operations officer in the latest senior hire from the Swiss bank by the German lender.

Joanne Hannaford, who was leading a huge transformation project at Credit Suisse to simplify and modernise its sprawling technology systems, has joined Deutsche Bank as chief information officer for its corporate bank.
