Deutsche Bank hires head of metals and mining

Deutsche Bank has recruited Brett Olsher as head of the metals and mining industry group within its corporate finance group.

He joins from JP Morgan where he was head of the European metals and mining equity research team. He resigned last week. In his role at JP Morgan he acted as an adviser to several chief executives and chief financial officers. He has worked on deals for companies in the sector including BHP Billiton, the Anglo-Australian group, Thyssen Krupp of Germany and Usinor of the Netherlands.
