An HSBC executive is returning to Deutsche Bank to run its US private bank.

Deutsche Bank has named Patrick Campion as head of wealth management Americas to run its private banking unit in the US. For Campion, the hiring marks a return to the German bank after nine years with HSBC as chief executive of its US private bank.
