Deutsche Bank hires Segreti to US bond trading team

Deutsche Bank has recruited Ralph Segreti from Barclays Capital as a senior trader in its US Treasury inflation protected securities (Tips), or US government inflation-linked bonds trading team.

Segreti joins the German bank's New York office as a director, reporting to Paul Calvetti, head of North America government trading. He will be responsible for secondary market trading of Tips and his hire is part of a drive by Deutsche Bank to build up its presence in the sector.
