Ex-Deutsche Bank M&A specialist sets up new shop

German bank's former head of mergers and acquisitions for central and eastern Europe establishes advisory firm

The former head of mergers and acquisitions for central and eastern Europe at Deutsche Bank has established an advisory firm, becoming the latest bulge-bracket banker to swap a role at a large investment bank for a smaller venture.

Dimitrios Stratikopoulos set up Domius Capital Advisers with former UBS banker Altay Israfil, with the firm winning regulatory approval earlier this month, according to the Financial Services' register.
