Deutsche Bank is strengthening its ties with the global fintech community through the appointment of a dedicated head of innovation.

The German bank said in a December 5 statement that Elly Hardwick has been appointed as head of innovation to work with financial technology companies and Deutsche Bank's own business divisions on the adoption of new technologies. She will also manage the bank's innovation labs globally.
