Deutsche Bank has promoted its group treasurer to global co-head of its equity capital markets business, filling the gap created after Sam Dean, the former co-head, quit in May to join rival Barclays Capital.
Chris Whitman, who has run Deutsche Bank's treasury operations in London for nearly three years, was named the new global co-head of ECM with New York-based Mark Hantho today, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
