Deutsche Bank has agreed a $220m settlement with 45 US states over what is claimed was fraudulent conduct involving the manipulation of the US dollar London interbank offered rate and other benchmark interest rates.

The settlement was announced by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman late Wednesday.
