Deutsche Bank is set to ramp up staff numbers in its UK office over the summer, the latest City-based firm to bring more employees back as lockdown restrictions ease in the country.
The German lender told its UK-based employees that it would aim to bring more staff back from 21 June, if the government presses ahead with the final stage of its plans to lift lockdown restrictions, according to a person familiar with the matter. UK and Ireland chief executive, Tiina Lee, told employees that the bank intended to gradually bring staff back to over the summer.
