Deutsche Bank Securities' new position of director and senior investment adviser in its global markets research investment advisory group has been filled by former Banc of America Securities strategist, Gerald Lucas.

Lucas had been at Banc of America Securities for three years, most recently as chief treasury and agency strategist. He previously spent 16 years at Merrill Lynch, serving as senior government and derivatives strategist before his departure.
