Deutsche turns to private bank for new operating chief

Deutsche turns to private bank for new operating chief

Deutsche Bank has picked a 30-year veteran from the ranks of its private banking division to become its new chief operating officer — an appointment that continues a month of churn at the very top of Germany's largest bank.

Deutsche said on Tuesday that Frank Kuhnke would succeed Kim Hammonds in the role. Kuhnke, who joined in 1986, most recently served as head of operations for the group's private and commercial bank.
