A decade on from the eruption of the financial crisis, Europe's banking sector has witnessed "truly remarkable" change, according to a senior Deutsche Bank analyst. But while some businesses have "suffered considerably", the revenue mix is now healthier and more balanced.
That is the view of Jan Schildbach, head of Deutsche Bank’s banking, financial markets and regulation team, in an August 29 note entitled 'Where do European banks stand? 10 years after the start of the financial crisis'.
