Anthony Kirby, previously head of Reuters' global straight-through processing (STP) strategy has re-emerged at Deutsche Boerse, where he has been named as head of the STP Design unit.

The appointment is something of a coup for the German exchange, which is understood to be reinvigorating its efforts in STP and reference data following the recent acquisition of Clearstream, the Luxembourg-based securities settler.
