Deutsche Börse, operator of the Frankfurt stock exchange, has sold a technology division to Softlab, part of the BMW Group, saying the move was designed to focus on core business.

Softlab, an IT consultancy, hopes to complete the deal for the division, Entory, this autumn, pending antitrust approval. Terms were not disclosed.
