Deutsche brings in BaFin chairman

Deutsche Bank has appointed Caio Koch-Weser, chairman of the supervisory board of German regulator Bündesanstalt fur Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht, and former deputy finance minister, as non-executive vice-chairman.

Koch-Weser will report to Deutsche Bank's chief executive, Josef Ackermann, and be based in London, the bank said in a statement. He will represent the bank in public forums worldwide.
