Deutsche Bundesbank, the German central bank, has implemented the Shadow integration technology from Neon Systems, the US-based systems integration software developer, to simplify access to the data stored in its mainframe systems.

The Shadow mainframe adapters enable the bank to access data stored in the mainframe through Microsoft Windows or web browser applications.
