A long-serving member of Deutsche Bank’s equities business has joined the emerging markets broker Sova Capital, following the German group’s decision to withdraw from stock-trading.

Sam Docherty, who arrived at Deutsche 15 years ago following its acquisition of the investment banking business of UFG Asset Management, will join London-based Sova as director of central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa sales and trading.
