Deutsche Bank has initiated a round of corporate and investment banking job cuts that could see at least 250 to 500 staff axed from the division, according to a person familiar with the matter.

News of the cuts, which were first reported by Bloomberg, comes after revenues at Deutsche's corporate and investment bank dropped by around 15% in the fourth quarter and last year as a whole.
