Deutsche Asset Management's head of equities for Europe, Petra Pflaum, is taking on a newly-created role as chief investment officer for responsible investments.

The move is aimed at putting non-financial issues, like green issues and social protection, at the heart of the €715 billion asset manager's investment decision making.
