Deutsche Bank has become the latest investment bank to take on a former Citigroup analyst, with the appointment of Nick Lord to cover the UK banks sector within its pan-European equity research team.

Lord replaces Stephen Kirk, who left last autumn after four years with Deutsche. He joins an eight-strong financial services team in London headed up by Steven Nathan, and will report to Nimrod Schwarzmann, head of pan-European equity research.
