Deutsche hires two for Italian corporate finance

Deutsche Bank has added two managing directors to its Italian corporate finance team, just months after hiring six former Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB) bankers to its Italian financial institutions business.

Massimo Armanini joins Deutsche from Bernabè and Partners, an Italian advisory firm, where he was a partner concentrating on Italian coverage and corporate finance. He has also worked at UBS Warburg, in the advisory team, and spent three years at Parmalat, where he was head of the Italian food company's North American operations. He will become head of Deutsche's Italian corporate advisory team.
