Jonathan Bowers, a director of leveraged finance origination at Deutsche Bank in London, has resigned to rejoin his old boss and former co-head of leveraged finance, David Wood, at private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
The resignation is the eighth from within Deutsche's lucrative leveraged finance and financial sponsor business since Wood unexpectedly stepped down in late February. Since then there has been at least five senior management losses including Bruno Rigal, Andreas Haindl and Colm O'Sullivan, former managing directors within the investment bank's financial sponsors group; Charlotte Seagrove, former managing director in leveraged loan syndication; and John Sinik, a former managing director of leveraged finance who has become co-head of leveraged finance at UBS.
