Deutsche Bank has handed Anshu Jain, the bank's head of global markets, full responsibility for corporate and investment banking following the retirement of Michael Cohrs.

Jain, 47, will take over as sole co-head of corporate and investment banking, adding oversight of global transaction services and banking to his markets role, according to a statement from the bank.
