Deutsche Bank has created a specialist team to raise funds for unlisted companies, aiming to tap into the huge pool of private capital in Europe.

Senior equity capital markets banker Michele Cohen and technology specialist Woojin Chung have been chosen to lead the new initiative, according to people familiar with the moves. The German lender plans to hire more people to the team.
