The former head of financial institutions dealmaking at Deutsche Numis has re-emerged in a senior role at retail investment platform AJ Bell.

Stephen Westgate, who was one of Deutsche Numis’s top dealmakers until his departure in June, has been named group corporate development director at AJ Bell, according to a statement from the firm.
