Deutsche picks Fowler

Deutsche Bank has plugged a long-standing gap in its investment banking team after moving John Fowler, vice-chairman of its US healthcare team, to run European healthcare investment banking in London.

Fowler fills the gap left after Greg Perrick left Deutsche to run the in-house mergers and acquisitions team at Swiss healthcare group Novartis in mid-2004. The German bank's European healthcare team had been run on an interim basis since his departure by senior directors John Goodey and Denis Fabre.
