Deutsche sinks in ECM

Deutsche Bank has dropped to fifth place in the European equity underwriting league tables this year after topping the table in 2005, while Morgan Stanley jumped from second place to grab the top spot in the same period.

Morgan Stanley, which was also the largest bookrunner of European initial public offerings, leading 29 deals worth nearly $12bn (€9.2bn), topped the overall European table ahead of JP Morgan, according to data provider Thomson Financial.
