Deutsche Telekom lines up benchmark bond

Deutsche Telekom, one of the most heavily indebted companies in Europe, is preparing to sell its biggest euro benchmark bond in over a year.

Europe's largest telecommunications group has mandated Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Société Générale to arrange the sale of up to €1.5bn ($1.9bn) worth of seven-year bonds, which will be issued by subsidiary Deutsche Telekom International Finance.
