Deutsche Bank has decided to keep Morgan Grenfell Private Equity despite selling its direct private equity investments, according to a source close to the bank.

The source said: "Morgan Grenfell Private Equity manages a €300m ($296m) to €400m portfolio that it is now harvesting. Investors are pleased with it after some traumatic experiences. We have no reason to want to change Morgan Grenfell Private Equity's situation."
