Deutsche Bank has leapt to the top in six out of the 10 categories relating to equity new issues as ranked by fund managers in the Reuters European Smaller Company Survey 2001.

This is a massive step up for the German bank, which did not appear in the top three for any of the equity issue categories as ranked by fund managers in the same survey last year.
