DFJ Element raises $284m clean tech

DFJ Element, a venture capital fund formed to invest in clean technology companies, has closed at $284m (€222m), nearly twice its original target.

Investors in the fund, which had an initial target of $150m include Calpers, the Californian pension scheme, LA city employees retirement system, British Airways and Coca Cola.
