Digital bank Revolut confirms investment veteran Martin Gilbert as chair

The former co-CEO of Standard Life Aberdeen has been an adviser to Revolut’s chief executive Nikolay Storonsky since March

Revolut has confirmed Martin Gilbert, the former co-chief executive of asset manager Standard Life Aberdeen, as its first non-executive chair.

The appointment has been expected for some time, with Gilbert serving as an adviser to Nikolay Storonsky, the digital bank’s chief executive, since March. Gilbert will assume the new role on January 1.
