Disciplinary hearing against Deloitte for Autonomy audit to resume virtually

The formal complaint relates to Deloitte’s audit of the company's 2009 and 2010 financial statements

The Financial Reporting Council, the accounting watchdog, has announced the resumption of the disciplinary hearing against Big Four firm Deloitte for its audit of software provider Autonomy Corporation.

The hearing, which resumes on 9 July, is set to consider a formal complaint against Deloitte and two of its former partners, Richard Knights and Nigel Mercer.
