Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette has recruited Peder Oien as a senior vice-president in its leveraged finance group in London.

Oien joins after 10 years at Salomon Smith Barney where he was a director in the global loan structuring and syndication group for the last three years. Over the last couple of years he has focused on European telecommunications transactions for companies such as Cable & Wireless and Deutsche Telekom.
