Michael Dobson, former head of Deutsche Asset Management, has joined the board of Schroder Investment Management as a non-executive director.

Dobson headed Morgan Grenfell's European equities department 20 years ago, prior to its takeover by Deutsche Bank. He later represented Deutsche's asset management division on the Deutsche Vorstand and was chief executive of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell from 1993 to 1997.
