Dobson is expected to sharpen up Schroders

Analysts say new chief executive will swiftly revamp the board of directors

Michael Dobson is expected to make decisive moves to focus business development at Schroders when he arrives as its new chief executive this week.

A revamp of its board of directors is on the cards, according to analysts, together with an assessment of investment expertise and costs with a view to rebuilding profits. Enfranchisement of Schroders' non-voting stock is set to take place at some stage.
