Dominic Chappell found guilty in BHS pension case

Dominic Chappell, the businessman who acquired high street chain BHS from Sir Philip Green prior to its collapse, has been found guilty of failing to hand over information to the UK's pensions regulator.

The verdict was handed down at Brighton Magistrates' Court yesterday, where former racing driver Chappell was found "guilty of three charges of neglecting or refusing to provide information and documents, without a reasonable excuse", according to a statement from The Pensions Regulator. Chappell had denied the charges.
