Katherine Garrett-Cox, chief investment officer at Aberdeen Asset Management, looks set to leave the company where she has worked for three years.

An Aberdeen spokesman was unable to confirm if Garrett-Cox would be returning to work at the company. Garrett-Cox has been on maternity leave from Aberdeen for the past six months and was unavailable for comment.
