Doughty Hanson buys offices from Grundig

Doughty Hanson, the pan-European private equity firm, has bought a portfolio of 24 office buildings from Grundig, the German audio-visual equipment manufacturer. The acquisition is its third property deal to arise from its Solutions for Corporates programme.

John Howard, a principal of Doughty Hanson's $630m (&euro718m) real estate fund, said that the programme was initiated when the firm closed its first real estate fund two years ago, to assist corporates with complex real estate problems.
