Doughty Hanson's chief executive and head of investor relations Stephen Marquardt is leaving the London-based private equity firm, which has revived fundraising plans that had been put on ice earlier in 2015.

Marquardt, a well-known name in European private equity who joined Doughty Hanson in 2000, will leave at the end of January 2016 after 16 years at the firm, Doughty Hanson confirmed in an email. It added: "We would like to thank him for his loyalty and hard work over that time and wish him well for the future."
